Rick VanGorder
Rick has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to community service through a variety of leadership and volunteer roles. He has served as Vice President of Phoenix Pop Warner, a 4-H leader for two decades, a six-year member of the Phoenix School Board, and President of the Phoenix Chorus and Drama Boosters. In addition, he founded and managed the Screamwood Forest fundraiser, further reflecting his dedication to supporting local initiatives.
Rick earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Watson School of Engineering at SUNY Binghamton and later completed additional medical-based coursework at Onondaga Community College. He now brings his technical expertise and compassion for others to SPOC—where innovation and empathy come together to improve lives.
