Transfemoral Gait and Working Toward Optimal Outcomes
Description of Course:
The course will provide a general understanding of key components of transfemoral prosthesis. How alignment and multiple other factors affect transfemoral gait and optimization of outcomes. How to identify and address complications and improve overall quality of gait for individuals with transfemoral amputations. This course is approved by the American Board of Certification for Prosthetist for 2 Contact Hrs. (2.5 CEUs)
Outcome Measures – Patient with Limb Loss or Limb Difference - Functional Level
Description of Course:
This course is designed to support functional classification of person’s utilizing lower limb prosthesis. In this course we will review documentation requirements and how specific Outcome Measures were utilized in these Policy decisions and how they support a robust Clinical Evaluation of Functional Ability of Prosthetic Users. This course is approved by the American Board of Certification for Prosthetist for 1.5 Contact Hrs. (2.0 CEUs)
